EFFECTIVE METHODS FOR DEVELOPING COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL SKILLS IN STUDENTS WITHIN THE PEDAGOGICAL PROCESS
Abstract
The development of communication and social skills in students is a fundamental aspect of modern education. These skills, often referred to as soft skills, include effective verbal and non-verbal communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and adaptability to diverse social environments. This study explores effective pedagogical methods for fostering these competencies, including project-based learning, collaborative techniques, role-playing, simulations, and digital technologies. The research emphasizes the critical role of teachers as facilitators, the integration of emotional intelligence training, and the importance of culturally responsive practices. The findings suggest that a structured, consistent, and interactive pedagogical approach significantly enhances students’ interpersonal skills, preparing them for academic, social, and professional success.
