INTEGRATING 21ST CENTURY SKILLS INTO ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING
Abstract
In the modern educational context, English Language Teaching (ELT) plays a vital role in equipping learners with not only linguistic competence but also essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. This article investigates the integration of these skills within ELT through pedagogical approaches, real-life classroom practices, and technology-enhanced learning. By doing so, it provides English teachers with practical insights into designing learner-centered, future-oriented lessons that prepare students for real-world challenges.
