ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: THE SCIENTIFIC AND HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY OF THE 21ST CENTURY
Abstract
Environmental protection has become one of the most urgent global issues of our time. The rapid growth of industry, urbanization, and technology has led to severe ecological problems, including air and water pollution, deforestation, and global climate change. This paper explores the causes and consequences of these challenges, emphasizes the scientific basis for sustainable solutions, and highlights the ongoing recovery of the ozone layer as a success story in global environmental cooperation.
