Abstract

English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, and it contains thousands of idioms. Idioms are expressions in which words or phrases as a whole mean something but differ from their usual meaning. There are many idioms in the English language, and mastering them not only helps to learn the language perfectly, but also helps to learn the culture. This article provides some interesting information about common English idioms and their meanings.
