INFORMATION SECURITY IN COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
Information security is the practice of preventing unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, modification, retrieval, recording, or destruction of information. This universal concept applies regardless of the form in which the information is stored. The primary goal of information security is to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in a manner that is balanced with the appropriateness of its use and without causing any harm to the organization's operations.
