Abstract

The technical condition of the Crankshaft-Connecting Rod Mechanism (CCRM), which is the core component of Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), determines the engine's reliability, efficiency, and service life. This scientific article theoretically and practically covers the technological sequence of CCRM repair processes: disassembly, cleaning (washing) of parts from corrosion and carbon deposits, defect detection, and repair methods. The article examines modern approaches to improving repair quality and restoring the resource life of parts (such as cylinder honing, crankshaft regrinding, and vibro-arc surfacing). The objective of the article is to formulate a technological map of the repair processes and analyze their impact on the operational performance of the engine.
