EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES FOR PLANNING TEACHING AND LEARNING CURRICULUM.
Abstract
This article examines the intricacies of curriculum planning through the lens of systems theory. It posits that meaningful changes to the curriculum necessitate changes within the entire system, influencing the institutional, programmatic, and classroom levels. Therefore, effective curriculum planning for major transformations demands coordinated efforts across these three levels, involving collaboration from various stakeholders, including government officials, educational organizations, universities, businesses, schools, and the broader community. Adequate support and resources for teachers are essential to this planning process.
